Fem månader sedan jag köpte bilen och idag satt jag tillbaka de dörrsidor jag tog bort ganska tidigt. Det fanns två anledningar, minst. Del så hade båda dörrarna gått i lås så pass att de inte gick att öppna, dels hoppades jag på att hitta röd/grå dörrsidor i stället för att de som var modifierade med blå galon i stället för tyg. Om jag inte hittade blått tyg vill säga. Röda dörrsidor har jag hittat men så länge inte övriga delar finns får de vila. Inte heller har något blått tyg dykt upp så nu monterar jag de ursprungliga modifierade sidorna så länge. Galonen har ändå suttit där i 30/40 år så det gör inget om den får sitta där ett tag till. I motsats till hur det var vid köpet fungerar både lås och hantag och rutmekanismen löper skallerfritt.

Five months since I bought the car and today I put back the door panels I removed quite early on. There were two reasons, at least. Partly both doors had locked so much that they couldn't be opened, partly I was hoping to find red/grey door sides instead of the ones that were modified with blue lace instead of fabric. Unless I found blue fabric that is. I have found red door sides, but as long as the other parts are not found, they can rest. Also no blue fabric has appeared so now I'm fitting the original modified sides for now. The gallon has still been sitting there for 30/40 years, so it doesn't matter if it is allowed to sit there for a while longer. In contrast to how it was at the time of purchase, both the lock and handle work and the window mechanism runs without rattles.
