Äntligen blev det tid till att montera ledskenan. Det luriga att få på plats var muttern i bakkant. Där är trångt och risk för att muttern ramlar ner i dörren eller, ännu värre, på garagegolvet. I brist på magnet fyllde jag hylsan med fett och lyckades på så sätt få muttern att ligga kvar i hylsan och även skruvas på plats. Sen kom sanningens minut, skulle det fungera, skulle allt skrammel vara borta? Och, ja, det är inte bara tyst utan rutan löper fint och lätt. Jag verkar ha lyckats. Nästa steg blir att montera dörrsidan.
Finally it was time to mount the guide rail. The tricky thing to get in place was the nut at the back. It's crowded and there's a risk of the nut falling into the door or, even worse, onto the garage floor, not to be found again. Lacking a magnet, I filled the sleeve with grease and in this way managed to get the nut to stay in the sleeve and also screw it in place. Then came the moment of truth, would it work, would all the crap be gone? And, yes, not only is it quiet, but the window runs nice and easy. I seem to have succeeded. The next step will be to mount the door side.
